Happy Halloween

What a weird Hallloween. It's 10:23 and I'm sitting in my hotel room hammering out some radio for stuff back home and just got back from a client dinner. It was alright but weird seeing all these fun people all dressed up walking through the restaurant while we're talking bidness.

Then again, it's LA.

And an interesting tidbit, we're acutally shooting in the exact, actual hanger where the first four space shuttles were built. Like a lot of aerospace facilities out here, this one has been converted into a production facility. But it's weird to think in the early 80's the space program was building actual shuttles in this same massive space. We bought a football today to chunk around during re-sets and it was like playing in a dome the place is so huge. And while I can't show you the inside of it, I can show you the outside.

That huge, 40-foot tall door on the left side of the building is the one we enter through to give you an idea of how long/tall/huge the space is. Here's a portion of the inside to give you an idea:

Personally, we're convinced this is where they shot the actual moon landing. Everything at the studio is space related and there's a big-ass space capsule sitting right in front. You tell me. I mean, moon on the front, this on the side:

But everything is going amazingly well and everyone couldn't be happier.

A rare moment in advertising, to be sure.

Oh, and this is what I've been waking up to.

The ocean is out there in the back of the pic but it's been so hazy this week you can't make it out so clearly.

It's like a crazy out of body experience. Today when we were actually shooting and there were all the hundreds of people and boom cranes and craft services and shit all there to shoot our spot it was nuts. Crazy.
