Who invited the guy from High School Musical?

Saturday night, Whitney and Katy were kind enough to throw a little pre-Thanksgiving dinner party for a few of us. So, in the spirit of the season, I figured "why not trot out the ol’ Christmas Sweater?" Some of you may remember it from the “Most Busted Holiday Card Ever” shoot Justin and I pulled off last year.

Festivus. For the rest of us.

I think it's safe to say it was a hit.

And because for some reason there was a cardboard cut out of Zac Efron, I posed it out with him, complete with my most LA pose. Who's 19 now, chorus boy?

And for good measure, I went all Vanessa Hudgens on him.

But then I thought "what fun is just wearing the sweater myself?" Spread the love, I say. The ladies X-Large, suburban-Atlanta-purchased, bedazzled-to-be-damned love.

Even Zac got a crack at it.

Special thanks to Aline for taking these pictures. And, more importantly, for deleting all the really incriminating ones. Hopefully.

Friend of Harpy here.

I don't know you, but when I see stuff like this, I wish I did.

My mother-in-law wears sweaters like this. For serious. She also wears embroidered vests. With dogs on them. She's a lovely woman, but I have a hard time not getting a chuckle out of the holiday attire.

You're hilarious.

Tania!

This is the point where I should mention there was a lot of wine involved. If, you know, that helps at all.

I can't believe you actually kept that sweater. The best thing about it is the little star on the zipper. I'm hoping I will see you over Christmas. Will you wear that to the PDog?

i'm very late on this post, but I managed to accidentally forget to read blogs for a while. it's important that you know that two weeks ago, in downtown brooklyn, i thought of you. these two guys had this whole table full of sweaters that were $3 each.

there was a tasteless holiday cardigan hanging from their table that would have looked lovely on you, but it was too small for any adult besides my roommate to wear. i also saw another one that i kind of wanted for myself. it was bright red with a large white duck on the front. the duck started just below the neck and went all the way down to the waist. it ended up having a small piece of dirty gum right in the duck middle, so i didn't buy it. then people would know that i don't wash my clothes.

most of the sweaters were the non-holiday variety, but i'll keep checking back in the area for you. i really wanted to get you that cardigan, but i'll have to find you another just as good or better.
