Round ball

We hit the US Open down in San Diego this weekend. Yeah, the one that just finally wrapped up this afternoon. Did get to see all the big names and drink a bunch of Michelobs (official beer sponsor) and walk around the beautiful Torrey Pines course even though the weather on Saturday was all overcast and windy, more like the British Open. And people are already calling it the greatest US Open ever. Others are calling it perhaps the greatest golf tournament ever. So, needless to say, it was well worth the trip. There'd be pictures but apparently you can't bring in phones or cameras to major events. Sorry folks.

I've also been getting very caught up in the Lakers-Celtics series and am disappointed at the amount of people here who are claiming to be Celtics fans simply because they "hate Kobe." Sure the guy may or may not be a rapist but the dude can ball. Besides I'm more of a Pau Gasol guy anyway.

Two in a row in Boston ain't gonna be easy though. At least it's holding off the sports doldrums for a few more days.

I didn't even really read your entry, but I did notice the Lakers mention. I tried to get you to a Knicks game back in the day and you wouldn't even consider it because you "aren't really into basketball." Who's Howard now? I don't even know you...

The Knicks never made the playoffs while I lived there, let alone the NBA Finals. Could have something to do with it. At least I wasn't rooting for Boston.

And thanks for "not really reading my entry" but still making the time to talk a little shit.

The Knicks were ok while you were here, and the tickets were free. And the game was at MSG. Whatever. I won't take it personally. And no problem on the talking shit front. I have my computer back from the hospital, so I'm back full force, yo!

Glad you got your computer back. And hopefully next year it will be a Kicks-Lakers finals. Then I'll really have to pick a side.

Feel like it says "comments" not "hey, come on in and vent your frustration and talk some shit."

I'm gonna check my template to be sure.
